solo My name is Martyn Van Soolingen aka SOLO.
41 Years young originally from Holland, been living in Switzerland since 1993.
I teach snowboarding, skiing, freestyle skiing, free riding, snow kiting, telemarking, cross country skiing etc. etc.

Have been teaching snowsports since 1988, and since 1993 here in the Engadin. I can teach in English, Dutch, German and Spanish. In the summer i'm running a camping site right here at lake Silvaplana. And i'm a windsurf and kite teacher since many years.

I've loved skiing and snow sports since i went into the snow the first time in 1976. I love teaching all kinds of winter snow sports, and specialized in snowboarding and freestyle skiing. I've been with many clients for many years and really enjoyed seeing these kids grow up teaching them snow sports.

I lived all around the world for many years. First i spend a couple of years in Texas, USA. and from there i went to the Dominican Rep. in the Caribbean for about 6 years, and i spend about 6 summers in Oregon, USA. In between i also lived in Baja, Mexico for one year. Teaching windsurfing and kiting. Then the last years i was a judge on the kiteboarding world tour and on the windsurfing world tour, traveling the globe!
